The mission of Friends of Golf (FOG) is to provide monetary assistance to youth golf organizations at all levels, thus making the game available to more boys, girls and young adults; while allowing these organizations to be more competitive.
In addition, FOG collects and distributes high quality previously-owned golfing equipment, thus allowing more young golfers to be involved in a game that teaches life lessons such as honesty, integrity, etiquette, discipline and the thrill of competition.
FOG takes a leadership role in honoring the student-athlete and promoting good citizenship.
FOG’s volunteer members believe an inordinately high percentage of proceeds raised should be distributed to the beneficiaries and vow to keep expenses and administrative costs to a minimum.
