You can become a Best Friend by donating $500 or more. As a FOG Best Friend, your donation makes a difference in the lives of so many junior golfers, and you will be recognized in the Tournament Journal and on FOG’s website. Here is a list of our current “Best Friends”:
Ever thought about donating stock or securities to FOG? For appreciated stocks and securities held for more than one year, your donation will be at the fair market value, regardless of your cost, thus maximizing your contribution up to the overall amount allowed by the IRS. Please check with your advisor for your tax-deductibility. For further information, please contact Tammy Booth at tammy@friendsofgolf.org.
We appreciate your donation, whether it is $50,000 or $250! A one-time donation of $50,000 or more can support hundreds of high school golf teams for a whole year, whereas a $250 donation could buy a bucket of balls for a young golfer for a year.
To make sizable gifts more manageable, some donors prefer to donate monthly. Many find this type of giving easier because it is deducted in smaller increments yet adds up quickly by the end of the year. Whichever is your preference, you are making a positive impact in the life of a junior golfer!
Please consider the benefits of making FOG a part of your estate planning with a bequest of stock, securities, or life insurance. Your donation is a great way to thank the great game of golf for years of enjoyment and pass the torch to the next generation of aspiring young golfers. For further information, please contact Tammy Booth at tammy@friendsofgolf.org.
If you would like to donate by check, please make it payable to Friends of Golf and send it to:
